ABOUT ME…

I’m Rudy Novotny, a lifetime baseball fan who has a passion for the game, its history and statistics. I attended my first game in 1961 at Yankee Stadium, my first Met game in 1963 at the Polo Grounds and have seen thousands of games. My background is in IT and I’ve recently retired. My professional experience helped me to build a database with stats for every player that has ever played in the major leagues since 1871.

I welcome your thoughts and opinions. Feel free to let me know if you find something that I’ve omitted or is incorrect. I spent a lot of time researching the information, but with so much data to consume it’s very easy to leave something out or get something wrong.

Also, if anyone has win shares data for 2024 please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. I can no longer find this data anywhere.
